Joe Jacoby

Mr. Jacoby joined the Redskins as an undrafted free agent from the University of Louisville in 1981.  In his Rookie year he worked his way into the starting line up where he started 13 games that year at Left Tackle. 

The very next season, the "Hogs" were born.  This was the offensive line for the Washington Redskins from 1982 and into the 1990's.  Many Redskins fans attribute the dominance of this offensive front, for the Redskins winning 3 Super Bowl Championships in this era.

Mr. Jacoby started 148 regular season games for the Washington Redskins from 1981 until his retirement after the 1993 season.
